FAQ
A calm place for goals and the habits that carry them. You tick a habit on the days you do it; Growth tells you plainly whether it is taking hold; and a small world fills in as you keep going. Reflections sit alongside, for what you are learning.
Empty, on purpose. Today walks you through three short steps — choose a world, name one goal if you have one, and add one habit — and the product starts working from the first tick.
Yes. Your goals, habits and reflections are personal, so they live in your own account rather than in a browser anyone could open — and the same record follows you between your laptop and your phone.
Growth is free to use. If a paid plan ever arrives, what you have already built will not be put behind it.
It reads how often you kept a habit when it was due over the last four weeks, counted only from the day you started it. A habit is just started, finding its rhythm, taking root, established — or quiet lately — and Progress says whether this month is steadier or quieter than the last.
Nothing resets. There is no streak counter to lose — the four-week reading moves a little and moves back. No warning, no notification, and no lost progress on the goal itself.
Set them as a number of times a week, or on chosen days. A three-times-a-week habit stays on Today until the week's three are done, and is never counted against you for the days it was not due.
From the share of its milestones reached and how consistently the habits carrying it are kept — 70% and 30%. A goal that resists being broken down can be set by hand instead.
Yes, and it often should. A daily walk can move a fitness goal and a clear-headedness goal at once, and counts towards both.
Two things. On Today, a small clearing starts bare each morning and fills in as the day's habits are done. On Grow, a lasting world gains something permanent — a tree, a path, a pond — each time your record earns an achievement. Tap anything there and it tells you what put it there.
No. You can tend it once a day if you like; it only helps the ground fill in sooner. Nothing wilts, dies or is taken away. Time away can make it look a little untended — fallen leaves, longer grass — and one tend clears that.
Any time — Forest, Garden or Meadow, in light or dark. Switching changes how your progress is drawn and nothing else.
Only you. Every record is stored against your account and protected by row-level security in the database, which means the server itself refuses to return one person's rows to another.
Yes, from Settings, as one plain JSON file. The same screen can restore from it — and shows you what the file holds and what it will replace before anything changes.
Settings lets you erase your whole record. To close the account itself, email us and we will remove it and everything attached to it.
No. There is no advertising network, no data broker and nothing reading what you write.
